Seating System Manual Tilt Seat Recline Seat Tilt & Recline Seat Adjustable Seat XHD Fixed Seat XXHD Fixed Seat Foot Rests Seating for TEFTEC power bases, General Seat mounting is very simple. There are two parallel multi-mount rails on the TEFTEC power bases. These are laterally displaced 5.75 inches each side of center, giving a distance of 11.5 inches laterally between the two rows of mounting holes. The multi-mount holes are on .75-inch centers fore and aft. This allows a multitude of seat bracket systems to be used with several positions fore and aft. TEFTEC has developed a line of ruggedized seating in its FirstClass®™ seating Line. These are designed to match up to the high strength of the WmegaTrac® and other TEFTEC power bases. Heavy-duty custom seats to 700 pounds can be supplied. Custom systems including lift mechanisms can be specified. Seating, Non Powered The new FirstClass® Heavy-Duty adjustable seating system base is constructed primarily of a square steel tube frame. It features replaceable stainless steel leg rests sockets and multiple mounting systems for seating position, height, and angle. The seat back features multi mount positions; push handles, heights from 14 to 20 inches, and adjustable back angles from 90 to 115 degrees. The basic structure of the seat back is high-strength aluminum. The flip-up and lock-down armrest assemblies are principally thick aircraft alloy aluminum plate and bolt on to the lower frame. Armrest pad mounting brackets are available in heights from 8 to 12 inches. FirstClass® seating systems have an array of fitment items and are designed to also accept accessory components made by others, such as plug in arm rest assemblies, lateral supports, chin control mounts, foot-rest extension tube and foot plate assemblies, etc. FirstClass®™ eXtra (X) Heavy Duty and eXtra eXtra (XX) Heavy Duty seats are constructed similarly to the FirstClass®™ Heavy Duty Adjustable Seat but with extra structure and in custom built sizes larger than 20 Inch. Special footrest positioning components to narrow the spacing of the footplates and other specialized fitment are available. These seats are built to order and have 5-year warranties paralleling the driveline. Upholstery, like tires, are wear items and not warranted except for defects in material and workmanship at time of delivery. Seating, Powered FirstClass® powered seating is designed to have the durability and strength expected in TEFTEC products. The FirstClass® Power Tilt seat, Power Recline seat, and Power Tilt and Recline seat have very low deck-to-seat-pan heights, allowing the user to have seating heights similar to non-powered seating. With this system and WmegaTrac® adjustable suspension, seated heights in a van can be similar to those persons in the standard van seats. Similarly, access to desks, tables etc. can be similar to normal household or office chairs. |
