 TEFTEC's FirstClass® Tilt Seat is a 60-degree tilt. When mounted on the WmegaTrac® base with optional driver adjustable suspension, 5-degree anterior tilt and 70 degree posterior tilt is available. TEFTEC's main effort on this line of seating was to creates a seat durable enough to match the WmegaTrac® tilt far enough for true pressure relief, and have a seating height lower than 16 inches possible. The seat is constructed of 1.25-inch square steel tubing on the seat frame and the canes are special rectangular aluminum extrusion that is drilled and tapped each 1/2 inch for 10-32 screws or has keystone grooves with sliding threaded retainers for infinite adjustment. The extrusion is capped off by an investment-cast push handle. In addition, there are through drilled holes on 2-inch centers. The back spreader is bolt attached and can be moved up or down. Deep or shallow spreaders are available to allow deep cushion back systems and back supports by independent manufacturers. The back angle is adjustable in 6-degree increments to a total of 24-degree adjustment (from 90 to 66 degrees back angle). Heavy gauge aluminum backs are standard, equipped with Pem nuts for Otto Bock type headrest brackets. FirstClass® Powered Tilt Seating System:
